Project Overview:

The Hidd Reclamation Phase I project represents a significant development within the Khalifa Bin Salman Terminal Port Basin, aimed at establishing a new operational base for the global food and beverage giant, Mondelez. Executed under the aegis of the MOW Special Projects Office, this project was marked by its fast-track execution and the pivotal involvement of key team members who are now part of Six Marine.

Project Execution and Team Roles:

Engineering and Supervision: John Barnes led the project as the Resident Engineer and Engineer’s Representative, overseeing contract administration, site supervision, and technical reviews, ensuring high standards and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Design and Project Management: Current engineers at Six Marine crafted the reclamation platform and revetment sections, contributing significantly to the project’s design integrity and execution efficiency.

Regulatory and Environmental Compliance: The team played a crucial role in navigating the regulatory landscape, securing necessary approvals from the Supreme Council of Environment and facilitating access to government borrow areas for construction materials.

Impact and Strategic Importance:
